Unit Planner

Plan a whole unit, not just one lesson.

Tell the Unit Planner what your unit covers, how many teaching weeks it runs, the contact hours and how many assessment tasks you want, and it writes a complete first draft: a handbook description, four to seven measurable learning outcomes (or your own, used exactly as written), a week-by-week schedule with activities for class and tasks to do before it, an assessment plan with weightings and due weeks, and an alignment matrix that shows where every outcome is taught and assessed. The weightings always add up to 100, every outcome is taught and assessed somewhere, and nothing major lands in week one.

Rewrite any week or the whole assessment plan, edit anything yourself, and download it as a Word unit outline, a PDF or a spreadsheet of the schedule.

From a finished plan you can go straight to a lesson plan for any week, an assessment brief for any task, or the final exam.
